The Inspire Story
God Provides!

In the Fall of 2015, God was doing a new thing in the hearts of Bryan and Terry Hitch, and Jim and Sue Kennon. Both were serving churches in California. Palm West Community Church (PWCC) was looking to plant a church in Arizona in the Vistancia area of Peoria, AZ, so in January of 2016, the Hitches and the Kennons visited AZ to explore the possibility of becoming church planters.

Pastor Bruce Schipul, senior pastor of PWCC, and their congregation issued the call to Pastor Jim and Pastor Bryan to plant Vistancia Community Church. In January of 2017, they began monthly preview services and on September 10th, they began weekly services at an elementary school close to Vistancia. October 17th was the official launch Sunday. But God had other ideas for the church that became Inspire Church.

In February of 2018, Inspire Church moved to Sun City West, AZ and began services on Saturday afternoons at 4:00 pm in the fellowship hall of their parent church. After a year of growth and development, they rented space in the Webb Room of the Sun City West Foundation meeting rooms.

In February of 2021, they were offered to lease a space of their own at the SCW Foundation, where they continue to meet to this day. Pastor Bo Weaver became the lead pastor of Inspire in September of 2025 and is leading this church forward into the future. Praise God, from Whom all blessings flow!
