In October 2017, Pastor Jim and Sue Kennon felt a clear call: partner with Bryan and Terry Hitch to plant a church in Sun City West. What followed was years of faithful, loving leadership that saw people come to faith in Christ and find a church home they could truly call their own.
After 44 years of pastoral ministry, Jim stepped back from active leadership — not to disappear, but to invest. He now mentors and coaches the next generation of pastors, carrying his decades of wisdom into the lives of those just beginning. In recognition of his leadership, the External Board of Inspire Church and a grateful congregation honored him with the title of Pastor Emeritus.
Jim and Sue still call Inspire Church home. When he's not preaching at other churches, you'll find him right here — warm, present, and still one of the best things about this place.
